Realizing that in a man's world it would be hard to break through the proverbial "glass ceiling", she left the securities brokerage world for insurance and retirement planning in 1991. While working with Northwestern Mutual Life, Kim soon recognized that personal producers needed someone on their side who could provide a more varied range of retirement products to help clients achieve their retirement goals. She was then introduced to the insurance wholesale market and soon accepted a position with a local brokerage firm to help them build their annuity business. After four years, recognizing that the firm wasn't poised to grow at a pace that matched Kim's potential and goals, she started Adams-Moore, LLC. After 19 years in the annuity & life brokerage market, Kim is recognized as one of the leading annuity specialists in the country, providing expertise to many professional producers throughout the United States. Her hands-on style of case management, attention to the smallest detail, and ability to solve almost any financial dilemma has helped her build her business and develop long-term relationships with many producers. Besides annuities, Kim's loves are her husband, Steve Tsumas, who is also a financial planner, her 11-year old daughter, Gillian, and her West Highland Terrier, Chipper Jones. Her strong personal relationship skills and analytical approach are helpful in finding the right solution for the client. 	Caroline M. Harris - 704.522.9228 ext. 115 or 704-227-0789 (Direct) A cum laude graduate from the University of Alabama with a BA in Communication and Information Sciences, Caroline, our Director of Marketing & Communications, majored in Public Relations and minored in General Business Administration. During her tenure at The University of Alabama, Caroline was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lamda Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Public Relations Student Society of America. Prior to joining Adams-Moore in April 2011, Caroline gained experience in both traditional and new media relations, strategic and creative campaign planning, event planning, promotion, and brand management initiatives. She began her professional career with Marmillion + Company in Washington, D.C. and Rawle Murdy Associates in Charleston, South Carolina. Most recently, Caroline was the Public Relations Manager for Sylvan Dell Publishing, also in Charleston. In this role she was responsible for all traditional and new media outreach, book launches and signings, awards, and promotional materials. Caroline brings enthusiastic, strategic, and out-of-the-box thinking to meet the marketing, advertising, and communication needs of Adams-Moore and its agents..


	Lynn G. Clayton - 704.522.9228 ext. 117 or 704-227-0791 (Direct) Lynn Clayton enhanced our organization in December 2011 when she joined Adams-Moore as our Life Brokerage Manager & Senior Underwriter . Lynn has more than 15 years of life brokerage experience and has been a licensed Life & Health agent since 2001. Lynn attended Kennesaw State University to pursue a music career, but found her calling in life brokerage. Lynn initially started earning the trust and building valuable relationships with agents as a case manager, overseeing licensing and contracting, providing illustrations, and assisting agents with commissions. She became very passionate about underwriting, developing her skills and building relationships directly with home office underwriters to insure clients were given the best offers possible for their coverage. Over the years she has completed numerous underwriting symposiums nationwide to hone her underwriting skills. Now, with a seasoned background and great knowledge of multiple carriers' underwriting strategies, Lynn works closely with our agents by analyzing clients' health histories and recommending the carrier that would be the best fit for the client. From assessing the severity of a condition, to making sure key information for an client is received before an application is submitted, to helping to secure the most accurate quote possible, Lynn will amaze you with her placement skills. Lynn lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband, Mark, their three children, and Daisey, their miniature Schnauzer. Her hobbies include playing tennis and painting.

Tonja has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has nine years' experience in the financial services industry, with the last five years specializing in annuity brokerage. As the previous Director of Operations for a local Investment firm in Charlotte, NC, Tonja found her niche helping agents not only grow their business, but also helping them increase their bottom line and effectively service their existing policies. With her experience in all aspects of the annuity market, she is highly effective at managing the intricate details of annuity case management. She will always strive to exceed your expectations.. In her free time, Tonja enjoys spending time with her family and friends enjoying the outdoors.

	Bryan Ballard - Technology Specialist After retiring from Micosoft Corporation after 20 years, Bryan began his own company serving the complicated technology needs of businesses throughout Mecklenburg County. With more than 25 years' experience in Information Technology, Bryan provides Adams-Moore with expert guidance and maintains our extensive networking system, databases, and servers.
